The Byte-Sized TEL sessions look at different aspects of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) and are open to all staff. The session format is usually a 10/15 minute presentation on a particular topic followed by an open discussion and tea and coffee.
uOnline Seminar – April 6th: The Instructional Design team, UCC, will run a free seminar ‘uOnline’ in Devere Hall, UCC on Thursday April, 6th. The event will cover online reputation, security, behaviour and safety online as part of All Aboard 2017, a week of national events that will run from 3-7 April to build confidence in our digital skills for learning. Latest Blog Post – Using ePortfolios: In our latest blog post of 2017, Ms. Stephanie Lawrence, (School of Nursing and Midwifery) gives an overview of teaching with ePortfolios and outlines some of her practical experience with using them.
Google Forms Training: We recently gave training on Google Forms, if you are interested of being notified about a repeat session please register your interest by filling out this form. If we have enough names we will repeat the session again. The training covers the basics of using Google Forms and a number of resources have already been made available including:
