Latest Blog Post – Twitter and Language Teaching: In the latest blog post, Sorcha Nic Lochlainn, School of Modern Irish describes her use of Twitter to teach Irish. The account, @Gaeilge_Chruinn, uses images to explain common grammatical errors in an approachable way.
The last Byte-Size Session: In Professor Don Ross (Head, School of Philosophy) gave a talk entitled “Higher Education 3.0“, talked focus on the need to combine online delivery, intensive use of learning analytics, lifetime service to alumni, and local community integration as the core of the coming successful business model for public universities. Google Forms Training: We gave training on Google Forms, if you are interested in being notified about a repeat session please register your interest by filling out this form. If we have enough names we will repeat the session again. The training covers the basics of using Google Forms and a number of resources have already been made available including:
